There are many ways to be assertive, while still being polite and not aggressive. Sometimes it becomes a fine line for a woman to establish in our society. But, it’s worth the hard work to feel happier about yourself and know that you can meet any situation with the right balance of assertiveness and confidence. I've had to work on this balance in my job, especially when dealing with men! lol
Yolo, you are so right about that! I faced the same while working except it was the women authorities I had trouble with! I never had any problems with the men.
